License
The software’s license
The software — the Chrome extension, its installer, and the server and other packages we publish in our registry, wherever it is reached — is ours, and you use it under the license in the terms of service: The Software.
Parts made by others
Parts of the software are made by others and come under their own licenses, which apply to those parts in place of ours. The open-source licenses page lists every one of them, for this website and for each piece of the software. Each piece also carries the licenses of what it contains:
- The installer:
commentware-installer-cli --licensesprints them. - The extension:
THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txtin the directory Chrome loads it from. - The server:
dist/THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txtin the@commentware-private/cli-backendpackage, for the server itself, anddist/web/THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, for the pages it serves.
The terms of service and the privacy policy are on pages of their own, and the legal page lists all three.
